Winston Spencer Beiser

December 29, 1954 — January 9, 2025

Conger

Winston Spencer Beiser was born December 29, 1954. He grew up on the family farm outside Conger, Minnesota. He graduated from Alden Conger High School, and went on to graduate with distinction with a degree in Agronomy from the University of Minnesota. In his career Winston found joy working in the farming community at Farmland Co-op, Golden Harvest, substitute teaching at Alden-Conger school, and as Ditch Inspector for Freeborn County.

His life centered around his roles as a husband, father, grandfather and farmer. He took incredible joy in his family and lit up at the mere mention of his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed teaching and radiated a curiosity for life not many can replicate. He will be remembered fondly for his ability to connect with anyone, his generous heart, his deep love of family and farming, and his unshakeable faith. Winston loved to talk to anyone about many topics but his favorite topic was God’s Word. He loved Jesus and sharing His Lord with others was a steadfast passion of his. He loved to worship, blow the shofar, study and teach the Bible and contemplate about His Kingdom. The twinkle in his eye, his infectious laugh, and his ability to find value in anything and empathy for anyone will be irreplaceable.

He was called home to be with God on January 9th 2025 after a ferocious fight with lymphoma cancer. He is survived by his wife Linda and children Ben (Stacy), Kirk, Stan (Heather), Caroline (Matthew), and Christina (Tony); grandchildren Eli, Koen, Zane, Emma, Svea, Ilsa, Oscar, and Levi; mother Marvel; brothers Donald, Mike, Clayton, Scott, and Paul. He is preceded in death by his father William and mother Phyllis and sister Rochelle.

Visitation will be at Bayview Funeral home on Monday, January 20th from 3-6 pm. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 21st at Bridge Community Church in Albert Lea, with visitation 12-1 pm, followed by service at 1 pm with refreshments to follow. Internment at Conger Cemetery will be private with family only.
