Theressa C. Jordahl

Theressa Dessa Carol Jordahl was born on November 28, 1921 to Helmer and Marie Gunderson Houglum in Kenyon, MN. She grew up in Kenyon area and graduated from Kenyon High School in 1940. On July 24, 1941 she was united in marriage to Carl Jordahl in Kenyon. The couple made their home in Albert Lea for 65 years. Dessa was a homemaker and enjoyed her family very much. She was also an avid reader. Dessa was a charter member of Grace Lutheran Church. Survivors include her children, Marlow and wife Barbara Jordahl of Loveland, OH and Barb and husband Steve Olson of Albert Lea; grandchildren, Scott and wife Pamela Jordahl of Loveland, OH, Julie and husband Doug Greiwe of Cincinnati, OH, Jeff and wife Stephanie Jordahl of Covington, KY, Chris Seavey of Owatonna, MN, Erik and wife Jackie Seavey of LaCrosse, WI, and Jenny and husband Chris Dauer of New Ulm, MN; great-grandchildren, Haley and Makenna Jordahl, Douglas, Parker and Caroline Greiwe, Alexander, Jackson, Elena Jordahl, Benjamin and Jenna Seavey, Anabelle and Samuel Seavey and Hunter Dauer; brother, Roger and wife Margaret Houglum. Theressa was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl; and brothers, Jim Houglum, Orvis Buddy Houglum, Herbert Houglum, and Donald Houglum.
