Shirley Ann Medrano was born September 17, 1950, to Clifford and Loretta Kinney Shuck in Austin. She grew up in Austin and attended Austin High School. In April 1985, Shirley married Pedro C. Medrano in Albert Lea. She worked for various companies, including Land 'O Lakes, Winnebago, Schweigert, Ring Can, and Wal Mart and attended the Albert Lea Church of Christ. Shirley was a giving and loving person who had a gentle soul. She loved singing with her grandchildren and teaching them songs. She put everyone in her life ahead of herself. The most important thing in Shirley's life was her family and the love of her life, Pedro. She also enjoyed playing the lotto, bingo with her sisters, and all family events. Survivors include her husband, Pedro; children: Roque Medrano and Beth, Angie Medrano and Jake, and Rosa Medrano and Kevin; grandchildren: Desiree Medrano, Destiny Medrano, Makenna Christenson, and Hayden Christenson; sisters: Diane Robert Newton, Betty Raymond Musel, and Elizabeth Larry Thompson; brothers: Gerald Sandy Shuck, Donald Shuck, and Gary Jackie Shuck; 5 brothers-in-law and 4 sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Steven; her father-in-law; and a brother-in-law.
