Ruth E. Groff was born May 26, 1921, to Leonard G. and Dolores Kipp Wangen in Albert Lea. She graduated from Albert Lea High School and was a lifelong resident of Albert Lea. Ruth was united in marriage to Robert Bohland. He died serving our country in World War II. She later married Harold Arntzen and then Ed Groff. Ruth was employed at J. C. Penney, Albert Lea Wholesale, Streaters, and in the office at Queen Products, Inc. until her retirement. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and volunteering for many community organizations. Survivors include her sons: Bob and wife, Cynthia Bohland of Mankato, Bill and wife, Betty Bohland of St. Paul, and Dan and wife, Pam Bohland of Tucson, AZ; daughter, Sue and husband, Charlie Fascziewski of Binghamton, NY; 11 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; brother, Roger and wife, Nancy Wangen of Minneapolis; and sister, Margaret Kenevan of Owatonna. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents and her husbands, Robert Bohland, Harold Arntzen, and Ed Groff.
