Ruth Ann Borge was born on Dec. 3, 1930 in Delavan, MN., the daughter of Louis and Dorothy (Linder) Lyneis. The family farmed near Freeborn where Ruth attended school and then they moved to Albert Lea where she completed her education at the Albert Lea High School. On Nov. 18, 1950 Ruth was united in marriage to Robert Borge at St. Theodoreâs Catholic Church. Ruth was a homemaker and helped on the family farm. Ruth enjoyed a fierce card game and âFast Trackâ and marble games. She was a member of the Albert Lea Senior Citizens, the Quilting Club, Home extension group, St. Theodoreâs Roasary Society and the Eagles Drill Team. Ruth loved sewing and was well known for her many beautiful quilts.
Survivors include her daughter, Marilyn and husband William Robran and children; Tina and husband Dan Urschitz, Nicholas and wife Heather and Darren Robran. Son, Steven and wife Debra Borge and children; April and Christopher Borge. Great-grandchildren; Cody Darcy, Tyler Robran, Kallie Thompson, Jazmyne Urschitz, Abagayle Urschitz and Claire Robran. Sister, Mary and husband Robert Dowd and brother Eldon and wife Joyce Lyneis and many nieces and nephews.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert Borge, grandson Jason Robran and brother, Floyd Lyneis.
