Ronald Eugene Carlson

Ronald Eugene Carlson was born on March 8, 1926 to Lauritz and Emma Jacobsen Carlsen in Albert Lea. He grew up in the Albert Lea area and attended Albert Lea Schools. Ronald was a member of Clarks Grove Baptist Church. On January 5, 1952 he was united in marriage to Evelyn Goskeson at Central Freeborn Lutheran Church. The couple farmed and made their home in the Albert Lea and Clarks Grove area. Ronald was a member of Central Freeborn Lutheran Church, and a past member of the Eagles Club. He enjoyed fixing up his Model A, spending time at their cabin up north and traveling in his motor home. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn; children, Brian Marcia Carlson of Stacyville, IA, Julie Alan Evenson of Dumas, TX, Marcia Jerry Evenson of Dumas, TX, Nancy Greg Emery of Albert Lea, and Bob Beth Carlson of Tampa, FL; grandchildren, Christopher Julie Carlson, Craig Cindy Carlson, Michael Carlson, Luke Kory Evenson, Benjamin Evenson, Jennifer Baldridge, Sheila Dusty Lee, Trinity Emery, and Britny Anderson; great-grandchildren, Kristen, Jared & Macy Carlson, Bentley Baldridge, and Hunter Lee; sister, Betty Sabinish; brothers and sisters-in-law, JoAnn Carlsen, George and Delores Goskeson, and Orville and Irene Goskeson. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Emma & Lauritz Carlsen; in-laws, Goske & Selma Goskeson; brother, Darrell Carlsen; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dick Sabinish, Tom & Betty Goskeson, Jim & Norma Goskeson, Jean Goskeson; and nephew, Jon Goskeson.
