Roger Lee Simpson

Roger Lee Simpson was born on October 7, 1956, to Delbert and Elizabeth Rogers Simpson, Sr., in Albert Lea, MN. Roger grew u in Albert Lea and was baptized at the Church of Christ. He was a 1976 graduate of Albert Lea High school and served in the United States Army. Roger loved watching car races especially Nascar. He liked working on cars. Roger also liked to paint model cars. He enjoyed bowling and loved animals, especially dogs. Roger loved to spend time with his family and friends. Roger will be greatly missed Survivors include his mother, Elizabeth Betty Berven, of Albert Lea; son, Harland Lee Simpson of Hollowayville, IL; brothers, Delbert Julaine Simpson Jr. and David Simpson both of Albert Lea; sisters, Mary Coxworth of Castalia, IA, and Rita Brian Rehdantz of Glenville; step-brothers, Larry Leann Berven of Temple, TX, Lonnie Kim Berven of Owatonna, MN, and Lynn Jan Berven of Albert Lea; nieces and nephews, Scott Coxworth, Chris Anderson, Ray John Coxworth, Sue Rehdantz, Jim Rehdantz, Heather Rehdantz, Brittany Simpson, Justin Norgaard, Jessica Norgaard and Caitlin Coxworth. Roger was preceded in death by his father; step-sister, Lori Bartholmey, and step-father, Al Berven.
