Robert R. Wacholz

Robert Raymond Wacholz was born June 19, 1932, to Alfred R. and Luella Yost Wacholz in Nunda Township. He graduated from Albert Lea High School and was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church. Bob worked for Wilson & Co. for many years and as a custodian for District #241 schools. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, having coffee, and visiting with friends. Survivors include his sisters: Eva Johnsrud of Albert Lea, Helen and husband, Duane Hausman of Albert Lea; and Sharon and husband, Robert Schiefelbein of Mt. Horeb, WI; nieces and nephews: Joel and wife, Pam Johnsrud, Jeffory and wife, Penny Johnsrud, Jay and wife, Ann Johnsrud, Jed Johnsrud, Jill and husband, Al Qusenberry, Heidi and husband, Stephen Ford, Susan Hausman Stember and husband, Larry, Douglas and wife, Mary Hausman, and David and wife, Yvette Hausman; and many grandnieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Luella Wacholz and his brother-in-law, Donald B. Johnsrud. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to cancer research or your discretion.
