Robert Andrew Larson was born on September 10, 1938 to Albin and Irene Krause Larson in Albert Lea. Bob graduated from Albert Lea High School in 1956. He was united in marriage to Marcia Trost on November 14, 1958 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Myrtle. Bob was a lifelong resident of Freeborn County. He worked for Wilson & Co. in early years, farmed and drove a can milk truck route for the Red Oak Grove Creamery. Later he worked construction and was the owner/operator of Bob's Construction. Bob was a member of Round Prairie Lutheran Church, and served on the church council there. Bob was a member of the Freeman Township Board of Supervisors, and was a past member of the original Glenville Rec Board that was active in starting the Glenville pool. He loved farming and working hard and played softball until he was 62 years old. Bob took great pride in his grandchildren and loved watching them in all their activities. Bob will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Survivors include his wife Marcia, children, Chris and his wife Kathi Larson, Lori and her husband Kevin Reyerson, Gary "Shorty" and his wife Teri Larson; grandchildren, Ben and wife Isabelle Larson, Brody Larson, Jesse, Wyatt, Alicia and Bradon Reyerson, and Ashley and Tyler Larson; sister, Joan and her husband Darryl Shaw; brother, Curtis and his wife Sandra Larson; father-in-law, Leonard Trost; brothers-in-law, Nolan "Bud" Hagen and Charles and wife Linda Trost; and several nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his parents; mother-in-law, Bernita Trost, sister, Patricia Hagen; and brother-in-law, Donald Trost.
