Richard Herman White was born on June 17, 1941 to Ray and Louise Bauers White in Albert Lea, MN. He attended Emmons schools. Richard married Donna Trae on July 9, 1966 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Albert Lea, MN. The couple resided on the family "century farm" that was homesteaded by Richard's grandfather and Richard farmed there until he became disabled in 1999. Richard and his father sold a portion of the land to the county; which is now known as White Woods Park. He was a lifetime member of Bear Lake Lutheran Church and served on the church council. Richard also served on the Nunda Township board from 1983-2001. He loved draft horses, antique farm machinery and nature. Richard enjoyed civil war history, Elvis music and was an avid Vikings fan. He was very much a people person and Richards family was his pride and joy.
