Richard D. Farris

Richard Daryl Farris was born May 16, 1951, to Ivan R. and Mavis C. Morgan Farris in Albert Lea. He was a lifelong resident of the area and graduated from Alden-Conger High School in 1969. On October 28, 1972, Rick was united in marriage to Becky Sue Turbett at the East Freeborn Lutheran Church. He was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church, Eagles, Elks, and the Alden American Legion. Rick loved motorcycle riding, camping, hunting, fishing, cooking, and spending time outdoors. Survivors include his wife, Becky; sons, Corey and his wife, Crystal Farris and Jason Farris and his special friend, Lindsay Troska; grandsons, Elijah and Brandon Farris; brothers: Randy and his wife, Kathy Farris of Conger, Tim and his wife, Julie Farris of Scarville, IA, and Larry and his wife, Pat Farris of Waterville; and several nieces and nephews. Rick was preceded in death by his parents, Ivan & Mavis; grandparents; brother, Jerry; and nephew, Jerry "LJ" Farris.
