Memorial services for Rhonda Koziolek, age 53 of Glenville will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday February 7, 2013 at First Lutheran Church in Albert Lea.  Rev. John Holt will officiate.  Visitation will be from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 6th at Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the church.
Rhonda Kay Koziolek died at her home after a courageous battle with stage-four breast cancer for over four and one half years on February 2, 2013.
Rhonda was born on October 23, 1959, to Ronald and Donna (Dahl) Siblerud in Albert Lea.  She attended Albert Lea High School and was confirmed at First Lutheran Church.  In 1976, she met her one true love, Richard (Rick) Koziolek, and they were united in marriage at First Lutheran Church in Albert Lea on October 29, 1977.
Beginning in 1980, Rhonda worked in sales and marketing, and as a customer support representative for her husband's business, Rick's Satellite.  For over three decades, she used her gift of marketing satellite television throughout changes in the industry.  In 2007, she formed and became the owner of Cedar Creek Log Furniture, a custom log furniture business.  Together with her husband, she created unique log furniture, which was sold directly to customers in multiple states in the Midwest and as far south as Texas.  Their log furniture was also sold in a Wisconsin Dells store.  Wisconsin Dells was her favorite vacation place.  She really enjoyed relaxing at the water parks there.  Rhonda lived her life to the fullest despite her breast cancer.  She particularly loved to travel with her husband and their beloved daughters, Amber and Ashley.
Rhonda will always be remembered for her strong devotion to her family and her willingness to extend her hand to help those in need.  Even after she was diagnosed as having cancer, she did not worry about herself and always attended to the needs of others.  She had a big heart and many were richly blessed by her acts of kindness throughout her lifetime.  In addition to the joy she derived in spending time with her wonderful daughters, her granddaughter, Faith Kay, was a source of great joy for her.  She loved babysitting her and watching her grow and develop.
Rhonda is survived by her husband Richard Koziolek of Glenville, daughters Amber (and special friend Zachariah Crail) and Ashley (and special friend Shaun Lyngaas), granddaughter Faith Kay Crail, all of Albert Lea, father Ronald and mother Donna Siblerud of Hartland, and sister Cheryl Siblerud of Hartland.  She is also survived by her father-in-law James Koziolek of Glenville, aunt Ilene Blowers of Austin, uncle Harold Weitzel of Albert Lea and many cousins, nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and their spouses.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Arthur and Naomi Siblerud and Henry and Inga Dahl, uncle Robert Blowers as well as her mother-in-law, Carol Koziolek.
