Randy Neil Giebel

Randy Neil Giebel, 73, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at his home in Albert Lea.

Randy was born January 15, 1950 to Neil and Melva Giebel in Reedsburg, WI where he grew up with his siblings. He attended school in Reedsburg and eventually in Madison, graduating with an associate degree in welding. He used this degree to great effect, working for Streater as a welder for many years. He married the love of his life, Pamela Nolden on April 12, 1980,  and from their union came many children.

He was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church and would often tell stories to whoever would listen about his adventures. He loved collecting things, including his wide variety of vehicles, but most of all he loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife Pamela; children Bradley (Laura) Giebel, David (Elizabeth) Evans, Paul (Kat) Giebel, Chad Rhiger, Matthew (Wahnita) Giebel, Sarah (Peter) Nelson, and Denise (Darrell) Holliday; siblings Jan (Bill) Kiggins, Laurie (Mike) Golla, Karen (Dan) Timmerman, Lovie (Gene) Nelson, Patti (Russ) Dorshorst, Barbie (Darrell) Parkinson, and Kevin (Kris) Giebel; sisters-in-law Carole (Paul) Brill, Sheila Hansen, Kris Hansen, and Peggy Nolden; grandchildren Lucy, Penelope, Garrett, Aaron, Lilijah, Gabriel, Liam, Amelia, Jakob, Grace, and Violet; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents Neil and Melva, stepmother Marilyn, and baby Jordan.
