Perry Wayne Mills

Family and friends of Perry W. Mills, age 58 of Albert Lea, will gather Monday, June 10, 2013 at Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home from 4 – 7:00 p.m. to share memories.  No further services will be held.  
Perry died on Thursday June 6, 2013 at St. Mary’s Hospital, Rochester.
Perry Wayne Mills was born on June 25, 1954 in Albert Lea the son of Arthur and Lois (Sherburne) Mills.  He was raised and attended school here in Albert Lea.  Perry was united in marriage to Nila Risius on March 17, 1991 in Las Vegas, NV.  He worked for the State Park System, Progress Castings, Enders Tool, Imperial Chemical and Streaters.  Perry loved the outdoors and any activities such as hunting, fishing and being in nature.  He was a member of Pheasants Forever and the National Wild Turkey Federation.  Animals were loved by Perry especially his pets.
Perry is survived by his wife Nila of Albert Lea, sister Karen Springborg, Albert Lea, brothers Art Mills Jr., Ellendale and Mike Mills, Texas, and nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law Richard Springborg.
