Pauline F. Anderson

Pauline F. Anderson was born on January 13, 1918, in Albert Lea, the daughter of Walter and Wilhelmena Volbruck Baumgartner. Pauline was a lifelong resident of Albert Lea, graduating from ALHS in 1935. On December 3, 1938 she was united in marriage to Kenneth W. Anderson. Pauline was a member of Calvary Baptist Church for 74 years. She was active in church circles, and with flower and other church committees. She enjoyed fishing most of all, along with flower gardening. She loved animals and nature. She was a good cook and seamstress. Following their retirement, Pauline and Kenneth spent many winters in Arizona and took many other trips. Survivors include her sons Robert and his wife Patricia Anderson, and Bernette and his wife June Anderson; daughter Marietta and her husband David Bangs; granddaughters Virginia and her husband Charles Tyler, Debbie Lenz, Kathie Anderson, Kris and her husband Nate Laugen, Brenda Bangs and her friend Dennis Oquist, and Dawn and her husband Justin Jenson; grandsons David Bangs, Jr. and Bill Bangs; great-grandchildren Joshua Tyler, Aleshia Tyler, Jacob Tyler, Steven Lenz, Chelsey Lenz, Nathan Laugen, Brennan Laugen, Dylan Laugen, Karrina Laugen, Seth Anderson, Spencer Jenson, Parker Jenson, Savanna Bangs, and Kira Oquist and cousins. Pauline was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth, her father Walter, mother Minnie, grandson Randy Anderson, Great-grandson Caleb Anderson, and many aunts and uncles. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Calvary Baptist Church, Youth For Christ, or the donor's choice.
