Paul Bangert

Paul Bangert, 59, passed away on Friday, April 25, 2025. A celebration of life will be held from 2-4pm on Friday, May 9, 2025 at the Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home in Albert Lea, MN

Paul was born on October 14, 1965 to Fredrick and Marian Bangert at the Naeve Hospital in Albert Lea. Growing up on the family farm, Paul became a very handy man, able to fix anything. Paul was a lifelong member of the community, graduating from Albert Lea High School.

Paul loved to go fishing. He would take frequent trips to the family fishing spot at Pickerel Lake. He also enjoyed going on motorcycle trips on his Harley-Davidson sportster. His sarcastic sense of humor made everyone around him laugh.

Paul is survived by his children Jesse Bangert, Andrea Bangert, and Dylan Bangert. Siblings Lowell Bangert, Mary Beth Jones, and Diane Holland. Granddaughter Saharah Bangert; and his in-laws Paige Bangert and Steve Holland.

Paul is preceded in death by his parents Fredrick and Marian.
