Nadine A. Wadding

Nadine Wadding was born on April 2, 1923, to Alvin and Hilda Bakka Riskedahl in Bath Township, Freeborn County, MN. She moved to Albert Lea when she was 18 years old. Nadine married Orval Hartin on July 6, 1947 in Albert Lea, MN. She worked various jobs including a dispatcher for Wadding Trucking. Nadine married Earl Wadding on April 30, 1977, in Austin, MN. She retired from Land O Lakes in 1982. Nadine was a member of the United Methodist Church, Albert Lea Eagle's, Glenville American Legion Auxiliary, and the Elks. She enjoyed baking and visiting with her many friends and family and donating to various charities. Survivors include her children, Barbara James Bighley of Albert Lea, MN, Brad Hartin of Albert Lea, MN; special granddaughter, Missy Bighley; other daughter, Jelaine Horton of Wisconsin; step children, Kelly Mary Wadding of Austin, MN, Kim Judy Wadding of Dubuque, IA, Kris Greg Hanson of Albert Lea, MN, Kasey Deb Wadding of Iowa; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who were all very special to her; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and many cousins. Nadine was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Orval and Earl; brother-in-laws, Wayne Wadding, Orien Sorbo, and Dale Wadding.
