Nabor De Leon Rios, amado Papá, Abuelo, Hermano, Tío y Amigo, falleció inesperadamente el 23 de Diciembre del 2022 a los 58 años de edad. Nabor nació en Cuautla Morelos, México, el 12 de Julio de 1964, hijo de Carlos De Leon Ocampo y Guadalupe Rios. Emigró a los Estados Unidos, primero viviendo y trabajando en California, después se mudó a Albert Lea, Minnesota en donde estableció su vida luego de conocer a su otra mitad y amada Esposa, Juany Renteria. Juntos formaron una familia. Nabor era la definición de un gran hombre trabajador, orgulloso de trabajar en la industria ganadera, empleado por Sahrside Dairy. Era un fanático del fútbol y fiel a su equipo Los Pumas, siempre listo con una Bud light fría para disfrutar el partido. En un día cualquiera podías encontrarlo escuchando a Los temerarios o Los Yonic’s en su estéreo con su gorra, lentes de sol y camiseta sin manga que lo caracterizaban. Era el chef de la familia, siempre con la parrilla lista para una carne asada o preparando deliciosos platillos para compartir con todos. Nabor brindaba alegría a dondequiera que iba, en especial durante fiestas y convivios familiares en donde le encantaba bailar cumbias con sus seres queridos. El era la luz y fortaleza de su familia, siempre contagiando a los demás con su alegría y bromas.
Le encantaba hacer plática con todos, siempre haciéndote sentir como si te conociera de toda la vida. Al final del día lo que llenaba su corazón de felicidad era estar rodeado de su Esposa, Hijos, Nietos y seres queridos. Su gran pérdida deja a todos con profundo dolor. Sus palabras sabias, amor incondicional, abrazos, besos y su gran sonrisa quedarán marcados en los corazones de todos los que fuimos Bendecidos con el tiempo que Dios nos dió para convivir con El. Nos fortalece el saber que un día nos volveremos a encontrar. Descansa en Paz, te extrañaremos.
Le precedieron en muerte sus padres Carlos De Leon Ocampo y Guadalupe Rios.
Le sobreviven su Esposa Juany; sus hijos, Perla (Jesús), Ricardo Jr. (Kyria), Erik (Jazmine), Jennifer, Oscar, Nestor, Karina; sus Hermanos, Lucino (Maria), Pedro, Rosa (Santiago), Maria De Lourdes (Miguel), Carlos (Regina), Marcelino, Hermelindo (Rosa), Maria Teresa (Neo); sus Nietos, Brian, Jesús, Elyanna, Kyros, Leo; Fransheskalee, Johnetzy, Airyk; Tambien queridos Compadres, Cuñados(as), Sobrinos(as), Primos(as), Tíos(as), y Amigos apreciados.
La velación se llevará acabo el Miércoles 4 de Enero del 2023 de 5:00-7:00pm en la Funeraria Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home en Albert Lea, MN. La Misa sera el Jueves 5 de Enero del 2023 a las 12:00pm en la Iglesia St. Theodore’s Catholic Church en Albert Lea, MN con servicio de velación una hora antes de la Misa.

Nabor De Leon Rios beloved dad, grandpa, brother, uncle, and friend passed away unexpectedly on December 23, 2022. Nabor was born on July 12, 1964, to Carlos De Leon Ocampo and Guadalupe Rios in Cuautla, Morelos, Mexico. He migrated to the US, first living and working in California, eventually making his way to and settling in Albert Lea, MN. Here he met his loving wife and other half, Juany Renteria, where they began raising a family. Nabor was the definition of a hard-working family man and took pride in working in the livestock industry, employed by Sahrside Dairy. A soccer fanatic, Nabor was a diehard fan of the Pumas team and always had a bud light ready when watching the game. On any given day you could find him in his signature baseball cap, sunglasses, and short-sleeved tee jamming out to Los Temerarios or Los Yonic’s on his stereo. He was the family chef, always firing up the grill for a carne asada or preparing delicious authentic meals to share with everyone. Nabor brought joy wherever he went, especially during fiestas where he loved dancing the night away with loved ones. He was the light and glue of his family, always filling up the room with hearty laughs.
Nabor would never shy away from striking up a conversation with whomever he crossed paths with and would leave you feeling as if you’d known him for a lifetime. At the end of the day what filled his heart with happiness was being around his family and friends. His wife, children and grandchildren were his everything and spending time together was always a priority. He leaves behind a loving family who is heartbroken by this immense loss. His words of wisdom, unconditional love, one and only bear hugs, and his captivating smile and laughter are ingrained into the hearts of all of us who were blessed with the time we had with him, until the day we reunite again.
He was preceded in death by his parents Carlos De Leon Ocampo and Guadalupe Rios.
He is survived by his wife Juany; his children, Perla (Jesus), Ricardo Jr. (Kyria), Erik (Jazmine), Jennifer, Oscar, Nestor, Karina; his siblings, Lucino (Maria), Pedro, Rosa (Santiago), Maria De Lourdes (Miguel), Carlos (Regina), Marcelino, Hermelindo (Rosa), Maria Teresa (Neo); his grandchildren, Brian, Jesus, Elyanna, Kyros, Leo, Fransheskalee, Johnetzy, Airyk; along with many loved sister/brother in laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and treasured friends.
The visitation will take place on Wednesday January 4, 2023 from 5:00-7:00pm at Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home in Albert Lea, MN. The Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00pm on Thursday January 5, 2023 at St. Theodore's Catholic Church in Albert Lea, MN with visitation one hour prior to the service at church.
