Morris Pedersen

Morris Pedersen was born August 14, 1907, to Niels and Katrina Jensen-Dahl Pedersen in Carlston Township. He attended rural schools. On July 9, 1966, Morris was united in marriage to Eleanor Schnoor at Redeemer Lutheran Church. He farmed much of his life and was very talented at carpentry. Morris was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, the Elks, and the Danish Brotherhood for over 50 years. He loved fishing and enjoyed traveling in his later years. Survivors include his wife, Eleanor of Albert Lea; daughter, Carol and her husband, Bill Zell of Bloomington; grandchildren, Lisa and her husband, Tom Hallbeck of Zimmerman and Laura and her husband, Nathan Bang of Lakeville; great-grandchildren Taylor & Noah Hallbeck and Jeremiah, Samuel, & Erica Bang; sister, Ethel and her husband Manly Bakken of Alden; and several nieces and nephews. Morris was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Christian, Arthur, Walter, & Otto; sisters, Alma Thompson and Eva Bakken; grandson, Howard Pieper; and great-granddaughter, Hannah Bang. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the donor's choice.
