Milton D. Adams was born October 14, 1930, to Oakley T. and Ercel Faulkner Adams in Webster City, Iowa. He graduated from Eagle Grove High School in 1948. On April 19, 1952, Milton was united in marriage to Lois Ellsworth at the First Methodist Church in Eagle Grove, Iowa. The couple moved to Albert Lea, Minnesota in 1955 and in 1973 they moved to an acreage near Oakland, where he enjoyed being outdoors with the birds and animals and all of nature. Milton was the Terminal Manager and Sales Representative for Ellsworth Freight Lines, Inc., retiring in 1987 as Vice-President. He loved to go hunting and fishing with his sons and to Montana bird hunting. Milton enjoyed attending his grandchildren's sporting events and was an avid wood carver. Milton and Lois spent 12 winters in Arizona. He was a member of the Oakland Lutheran Church. Survivors include his wife, Lois of Oakland; children: Laurie and friend, Larry Venem of Henderson, NV, Becky Guy Davidson of Billings, MT, Scott Trudy Adams of Albert Lea, Bill Cheryl Adams of Austin, Tom Jodi Adams of Hollandale, and John Connie Adams of Austin; nine grandchildren and one great-grandson. He is also survived by his sisters, Lodean Don Albers of Crystal, MN, and Betty Clarence Wilde of Eagle Grove, IA; and brothers: Ronnie Janet Adams of Webster City, IA, Mike Denise Adams of Tampa, FL, Oralyn Pat Fisher of Waite Park, MN, and John Fisher of Annandale, MN. Milton was preceded in death by his parents and a great-granddaughter.
