Mary H Anderson

Memorial services for Mary H. Anderson, age 103, of Albert Lea, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home.  Rev. Kent Otterman will officiate. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery.  Friends may greet the family one hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home.

Mary died Tuesday, May 3, 2016, at Good Samaritan Society in Albert Lea.

Mary H. Anderson was born on August 23, 1912 in Glenville, Minnesota to Theodore and Donna (Wardall) Knudtson.  Mary graduated from Albert Lea High School.  She was married to Archie Anderson on September 12, 1930 in Glenville.  She was a member of First Methodist Church of Albert Lea.  She enjoyed crafts, embroidery, and travel to visit family.

Mary is survived by her son David (Phyllis) Anderson, 10 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Archie, daughters Priscilla and Karen, sisters Bessie and Margaret, and brothers Frederick, Donald, and Max.
