Mary Christine Adams

Mary Christine Adams was born on February 13, 1948 in New Ulm, the daughter of Alfred and Odney (Hjelmeland) Botten. She grew up on her parent’s farm in rural Hanska, MN. Mary graduated from New Ulm High School and also from the Kahler School of Nursing in Rochester. On December 20, 1969 Mary was married to Terry Adams at the Linden Church in Hanska. They lived in Iowa before moving to Minnesota in the mid-1970’s. Mary worked for Naeve Hospital in the ICU and also as a home health and hospice nurse. She was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church. Her faith and her family were the most important things in Mary’s life. Blessed be her memory.
Survivors include her children Chad (Amy) Adams, Brett (Kelly) Adams, and Kristen (Hans) Rivrud; grandchildren Liam, Phoebe, Bjorn, Oskar, and Nolan; mother Odney Botten; siblings Allen (Paulette) Botten, John (Mary) Botten, Bev (Bill) Burk, Dale (Linda) Botten, and Dean (Katie) Botten; and many nieces and nephews.
Mary was preceded in death by her father Alfred.
