Mark John Schaub

Mark John Schaub was born on May 18, 1953 to Gerald R. and Bette Branby Schaub in Morris, MN. Mark moved to Albert Lea with his family as an infant. He attended Albert Lea Schools and Albert Lea Technical College. He worked as a mechanic, auto body repairman and worked on computers. Mark also worked for a drainage company; a company building silos and was an inventor. He loved cars and working on engines. Mark was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, the Eagles and Elks Club in Albert Lea. Survivors include his son, Damien Cassie Schaub of St. Francis; mother Bette Schaub of Albert Lea; grandchildren, Chloe and Jaxson Schaub of St. Fancis; brothers, Gary Shirley Schaub of Fairmont, and Randy Shari Schaub of Danube; sister, Dawn Brian Boelke of Onalaska, WI; special friend, Sherry Benson of Albert Lea and her sons, Chris and Shawn; many nieces and nephews; and former wife Marie Benner Schaub of Lino Lakes. Mark was preceded in death by his father, and sister, Nancy.
