Mark Steven Fenstermacher, 73, of Hartland, Minnesota and originally of Erie, Pennsylvania, passed away in Rochester, Minnesota on Friday, March 21, 2025 after a brief hospital stay. A visitation will be held from 4-6PM on Sunday, March 30 at Bayview Freeborn Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 5 2025 from 2-4PM at Burton Funeral Home in Erie, Pennsylvania.
Mark was born on August 6, 1951 in Erie, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Edwin (Reggie) and Shirley Fenstermacher. Mark married Pam (Vogan) in 1995 and relocated to Minnesota in July 2000. He was Director of Facility Services at the Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea, Minnesota for 13 years. Mark was a proud member of the Albert Lea Daybreakers Kiwanis Club, former president of his local Pheasants Forever chapter, and lifelong hunter.
Mark is survived by his wife Pam Fenstermacher; sons Adam (daughter-in-law Molly Molnar and granddaughters Lily and Violet) and Andy Fenstermacher; brother Kurt Fenstermacher (sister-in-law Kathe and nephew Brett); niece Robyn Fenstermacher and nephew Kevin Fenstermacher; mother-in-law Sally Vogan; sister-in-law Laurie Vogan; brother-in-law Al Vogan and family; and bonus brother John Snyder and family. He is survived by many other family members and friends from both Minnesota and Pennsylvania that will miss him dearly.
Mark was preceded in death by his brother Eric Fenstermacher on July 13, 2021; brother Victor on October 24, 1956; and the mother of his sons, Lisa (Crittenden) Fenstermacher, on June 6, 1991.
