Marjorie Jean Linquist

Marjorie Jean Linquist was born on October 19, 1923 in Albert Lea to Carl and Mabel Halvorson Thompson. Marjorie was baptized and confirmed at First Lutheran Church in Albert Lea. She graduated from Albert Lea High School. After school, she married Bernard Linquist at First Lutheran Church. Marjorie worked at various businesses in bookkeeping and her last employment was in real estate. Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Harley Mehrer of Yankton, SD; sons, Gerald Renita Linquist of Albert Lea, and David Alyson Linquist of Lake Mills; 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Don Trustem; Shirley Larson, Mary Erickson; brothers, Raymond Sandra Thompson, Clayton Judy Thompson, Lawrence Thompson; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bernard; daughter, Sandra Peterson; son, Randall Linquist; sister, Helen Brown; brother, Robert Thompson.
