Marion Jean Sorenson

Marion Sorenson was born on October 2, 1933 to William and Deborah Underwood Krowiorz in Wells, MN. Marion attended school in Wells. She married Donald Sorenson on September 3, 1950 in Wells, MN. Marion had various interesting jobs throughout her life. Her last employment was as a clerk for Holsum Bakery. Marion enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking and singing old time country music. She also enjoyed dressing up, looking nice was very important to her. Marion was a member of the Hayward Lutheran Church. She especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Survivors include her children, Linda Steven Johnson, David Sorenson, Pamela Beauchane, Beverly Wright, Cheryl Schroeder and Chuck Mary Sorenson all of Hayward, Lyle Chris Sorenson of Esterville, IA; 16 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Helen Brandt of Hayward; brothers and sisters-in-law; special cousin, Pat Bauers; special friend, Randy Ziegler and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Marion was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald; 3 brothers, Clifford, Daniel, and Lester; and sister, Pauline. Blessed be her memory.
