Marguerite D. Will was born January 17, 1920, to Oliver J. and Idella P. Linter Turbett in rural Glenville. She graduated from Northwood High School and attended Iowa State Teachers College in Cedar Falls, IA. Marguerite taught school for 12 years in Shellrock Township, MN and 7 years in Worth County, IA. On June 5, 1941, she was united in marriage to Leighton E. Will in Gordonsville. Marguerite had lived in Freeborn County for over 70 years and had attended the Methodist Church her entire life. She had worked at Red Owl for 17 years and was a member of the Eagles and Moose Auxiliaries. Survivors include her husband, Leighton of Albert Lea; son, Larry and wife, Carolyn Will of Omaha, NE; daughter Deanne and husband, Harold Kuchera of Hayward; grandchildren: Allan and wife, Sara Kuchera of Farmington, Alisa and husband, Nathan Niesen of Lakeville, Deborah Will and husband, James Fredrickson, and Matt Will, all of Omaha, NE; great-grandchildren: Samuel Kuchera, Benjamin Kuchera, Matthew Kuchera, and Emma Niesen; nieces, Rosemary Halstead of Albert Lea and Kathy Schlede of Austin; and great-nieces and nephews and cousins. Marguerite was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Doris Buchanan, and a great-grandson.
