Margery Jean Ozburn

Margery Jean Ozburn was born April 12, 1941, to Lawrence and Cecile Nelson Bremer in Freeborn County. She was baptized and confirmed at the Glenville Lutheran Church. Marge attended District #65 and Albert Lea High School. She graduated from Glenville High School as the Valedictorian of the Class of 1958. Marge attended Mankato State College and later worked for Rilco, which then became Weyerhaeuser. She moved with the company to Chicago in 1960. Marge was united in marriage to Thomas Ozburn on December 12, 1972, and they made their home in Des Plaines. Thomas passed away in May 1981. Marge developed breast cancer in 1999, but continued to work until January 2004 when her health began to fail. Her family was very special to her. Survivors include her mother, Cecile Bremer of Albert Lea; brother, Randy Bremer of Hayward; sister, Wendy Bremer of Albert Lea; nieces and nephew: Marcy and her husband, Brad Olson and daughter, Abby, Kim Bremer and children, Michael and Maxwell, all of Owatonna, and Robb Bremer of Mankato; and many other relatives and friends. Marge was preceded in death by her father; husband; brother, Robert; and an infant great-nephew.
