Margaret F. Tjepkema

Margaret Frances Tjepkema was born on October 26, 1910 in Argyle, Wisconsin, the daughter of Frank A. and Frances Jackson Thompson. After graduation from the University of Wisconsin, Margaret taught Home Economics in schools in northern Wisconsin. In 1940, Margaret was united in marriage to Sidney Tjepkema in the Wisconsin Dells. She was active in support of missionary activities in her church and taught Sunday School classes. Margaret was devoted to her family and chose to be a stay-at-home mother. Survivors include her husband Sidney, of Albert Lea, son James and wife Kathryn of Clarks Grove, son John and wife Christa of Orono, Maine, grandchildren Vanessa Stockard of Minnetonka, MN, Elizabeth Tjepkema of Minneapolis, and Caroline Tjepkema of Orono, ME; great-grandchildren Zoe Stockard and Aine Stockard; brother Donald Thompson of Freeport IL; nieces Jewel Thompson of Freeport IL and Virginia Hicks of Billings, Missouri. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Frank and Horace, and her sister Alice.
