Lucille Travnick was born April 23, 1921, to John Peter and Catherine Weaver Jacobs in Hays, Kansas. On November 8, 1946, she was united in marriage to Arthur Travnick at the Court House in Minneapolis. Lucille owned and operated a tavern and lunch counter in Hayward from 1951 - 1988 before moving back to Albert Lea. She was a member of St. Theodore Church. Lucille enjoyed listening to Twins baseball, fishing, crossword puzzles, cooking, and baking. She especially enjoyed being a caregiver to many people. Survivors include brothers: John I. Jacobs and his wife, Phyllis of Mission, Texas, Casper Jacobs and his wife, Reedie of Albert Lea, and George Jacobs and his wife, Delorus, also of Albert Lea; and several nieces and nephews. Lucille was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arthur; brother, Michael Jacobs and his wife, Nadine; an infant sister, Heneritta and an infant brother; nephews, Rick Jacobs and Dave Johnson; grandnephews, Eric Jacobs and Nathan Jacobs; and great-grandniece, Brittany Jacobs. Lucille will be greatly missed by her loving family and many friends.
