Lloyd Irwin Reindal was born on January 25, 1919 to Theodore and Martha Opdahl Reindal in Alden township. He graduated from Alden High School. He was united in marriage to Ingeborg Skov on August 8, 1945 at the Alden Danish Lutheran Church. The couple worked on the family dairy farm with his parents, brothers, son and family. Lloyd enjoyed singing in a quartet and an octet. He co-owned an airplane with his brothers, a cousin and Art Fogel. Lloyd was also a medal winner in the Golden Gloves. Lloyd served on the board for the Alden Co-op, was the secretary/treasurer for the Ditch Committee, president of the Alden Creamery, and was also on the church council of the Danish Lutheran Church. Survivors include wife, Ingeborg; children, Brenda Bud Davies of Cottage Grove, MN, Joan Doyle Freemyer of Cottage Grove, MN, LeAnn and Steve Kline of West St. Paul, MN, and David Sara Reindal of Alden, MN; grandchildren, Amy Kevin King, Melissa Andrew Craig, Molly Block, Maggie Freemyer, Tara Kline, Douglas Kline, Nicholas Reindal, Samuel Reindal and Christine Reindal; great-grandchildren, Kiley King, Adam King, Emma Block, Caleb Craig, and Samuel Craig; sister, Alice and husband Wallace Falldin of Shoreview, MN; sisters-in-law, Martha Reindal, Gladys Reindal; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Russell and Owen and sister, Beatrice Fellegy.
