Lloyd Raymond Larson was born on June 26, 1919 to Helmer and Minnie Reyerson Larson in Worth County Iowa. He grew up in the Northwood area. Lloyd married Ruth Elizabeth McCoy on October 6, 1953. The couple lived in the Albert Lea area after they were married. Lloyd worked for Midland Coop as a truck driver, also for Miami Margarine, and the Albert Lea Tribune. He ran a concession stand at the beach on Fountain Lake. In 1969, Lloyd and his wife bought the Florence Hotel in Winnebago where he also worked as a milk tester for DHIA. They moved to Blue Earth in 1978 where they managed the Crescent Apartments for a few years. They returned to the Albert Lea area before moving to Austin, and finally, Lakeville, MN. Lloyd loved horses and was very mechanical. Survivors include his wife Ruth; children, Tim Nancy Larson of Burnsville, and Terry Linda Larson of Apple Valley; grandchildren, Kristin, Lindsay and Molly Larson, Adam, Sarah, and Jared Larson; stepchildren, Janice Corlyn Paulsen of Lakeville, Janet Odean Jerdee of Hayward, and Vicki Steve Legried of Austin. Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents; a sister in infancy; and stepson, Keith Johnson.
