Linda Ida Anderson was born August 24, 1907, in La tour, Italy, the youngest child of Ernest and Henrietta Stalle Malan. The family immigrated to a farm in North Dakota where Linda attended school and later taught in the Ellendale Normal School of Ellendale, ND. On April 4, 1931, in Aberdeen, SD, she was united in marriage to Clifford C. Anderson of Luden, ND. They lived in Broadband and Huron, SD, for many years while Cliff was a welder for Chicago North Western RR and Linda was employed by the Armour Meat Packing Co. in Huron. After retirement, they moved to Albert Lea. Survivors include her three children: James Dean and wife, Gloria of Albert Lea, Richard Eugene and wife, Sharon of Inver Grove Heights, and Cherie Lee Schwartz of Oceanside, CA; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and sister, Alice Arcera of Florida. Linda was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Cliff; and sister, Emma Lenzini. Linda was a caring wife, mother, and grandmother and will be sadly missed by all who loved her.
