Lillian Alta Emrud

Lillian Alta Emrud was born on September 2, 1907 in Alden, MN., the daughter of Lauridts and Emma Jacobsen Jensen. She attended rural school district 16. On May 26, 1935 she was united in marriage to Oliver E. Emrud at the Danish Lutheran Church. Lillian was a member of the Mother's Club, Redeemer Lutheran Church where she was active in Ladies Aid and the Altar Guild. She enjoyed sewing, baking and tending to her large flower garden in her younger years. Survivors include her daughter, Marlene Fahning, Woodbury, MN., son, Lowell and wife Lois Emrud, Dodge Center, MN. 7 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Nephew, Curtis and wife Beverly Emrud and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Oliver. Brothers, Einer and wife Alta, Etler and Albert and wife Blanche Jensen, and sister Alice Jensen.
