Leonard Church

Leonard Abe Church grew up in New Providence, IA. He was a long time resident of Albert Lea and worked for Mead Containers in Waterloo, IA, Fort Dodge, IA, and Albert Lea until his retirement. He enjoyed carpentry and was an avid golfer all his life. Survivors include daughter, Carole and son-in-law, Wayne Grinnell of Green Valley, AZ; granddaughter, Debbie, and her husband Steve Robb of Fergus Falls, MN; great-granddaughter, Samantha; grandson Steven Grinnell, Rochester, MN; sister, Pauline of ElCajon, CA; and brother, Bob of Newton, IA. Leonard was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Alo Martha, and brother George Church of Chicago, IL. He will be truly missed by his family and many friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Crossroads Community Hospice of Albert Lea.
