Laura G. Arneson

Laura Gean Arneson was born on January 28, 1947 to Theodore and Mabel Brigston Arneson in Albert Lea. She grew up and attended school in Albert Lea, graduating in 1965. Laura attended 1 year of college and then was employed with the Army Corp of Engineers for 1 year. She was then employed by the Veterans Administration office, for 25 years, as a clerk/typist. Laura enjoyed her work very much and was recognized for her office skills. She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Albert Lea. Laura enjoyed crossword puzzles, watching TV, and was an avid reader. Survivors include her mother, Mabel Arneson; second cousins, Marjorie Lau of Albert Lea, Carmen Walter Flugum of Lake Mills, IA, Marian Gooden of Emmons, and Lillian Roy Carlson of Albert Lea; Laurai¿½s special companion Magic, her cat; and many friends Laura was preceded in death by her grandparents and father, Theodore.
