He grew up near Buffalo Center and went to school in Elbow Lake through the eighth grade. Larry then left school to help his dad with the family farm. Larry served his country for several years in the National Guard. On August 20, 1984 Larry was united in marriage to Elizabeth Ann Shuck. He was a member of the Elbow Lake Church and a long-time member of the Eagles Lodge. Larry enjoyed most outdoor activities and loved watching the WWE with his grandchildren. Some favorite memories were going to a WWE Main Event and a trip he took up north, both with his son Troy. He especially loved spending time with his family and particularly his grandchildren. Blessed be his memory.
