Kenneth Willis Anderson was born September 15, 1916, to Andrew S. and Mary Elizabeth Nelson Anderson in Albert Lea. He was a lifelong resident of Albert Lea and attended Albert Lea schools. On December 3, 1938, Kenneth was united in marriage to Pauline F. Baumgartner in Albert Lea. Kenneth spent time in the Civil Conservation Corp in the 1930s and was employed as a butcher at Wilson & Co. for forty years, retiring in 1978. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and had served as a trustee and an usher for many years. Kenneth loved to fix things, meet friends at Senior Citizens, and take his wife fishing. After retirement, the couple spent many winters in Arizona. Survivors include his wife, Pauline; sons, Robert and his wife, Patricia Anderson and Bernette and his wife, June Anderson; daughter, Marietta and her husband, David Bangs; granddaughters: Virginia and her husband, Charles Tyler, Debbie Lenz, Kathie Anderson, Kris and her husband, Nate Laugen, Brenda Bangs and her friend, Dennis Oquist, and Dawn and her husband, Justin Jenson; grandsons, David Bangs, Jr. and Bill Bangs; great-grandchildren: Joshua, Aleshia, and Jacob Tyler, Steven and Chelsey Lenz, Seth Anderson, Nathan, Brennan, Dylan, and Karrina Laugen, Spencer and Parker Jenson, Savanna Bangs, and Kira Oquist; and several nieces and nephews. Kenneth was preceded in death by his father, Andrew, mother, Mary, and step mother Ida Kuethe Anderson; brothers: Lloyd, Arlow, and Ralph; sisters, Myrl Nelson and Gladys Johnson; grandson, Randy Anderson; great-grandson, Caleb Anderson; and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Calvary Baptist Church, Youth for Christ, or the donor's choice.
