Kathleen Elizabeth Mucha was born May 9, 1919, to Adolph C. and Minnie Hallum Hansen in Albert Lea. She was baptized and confirmed by Rev. Bondo at Trinity Lutheran Church and has been a lifelong member there. Kay attended Ramsey Elementary School and Albert Lea High School. In August of 1938, she married J. O. Dick Jones in Northwood, IA. To this union, one son, Wayne M. Jones, was born in 1940. The couple was later divorced. Kay had worked in several cafes including The Bungalow, Clark Street Cafe, Bob's Cigar Store, and The Truck Stop, as well as Land O' Lakes. In 1958, she married Louis C. Mucha in Las Vegas, NV. Kay especially enjoyed watching the Vikings and the Twins. She enjoyed being outdoors especially camping. Survivors include sisters-in-law, Connie Hansen and Shirley Hansen, both of Albert Lea; 13 very special nieces and nephews; and cousins and neighbors. Kay was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Louis in 1980; son, Wayne in 2000; brothers, John and Robert Hansen; sisters Adeline Wooldridge and Doris Dronen; and step father, Morris Madson.
