Joseph C. Nelson was born on June 27, 1951 to Guy and Verna Rogers Nelson in Albert Lea, MN. Joseph was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Albert Lea and a member of the Albert Lea Art Center. He was employed through Cedar Valley Services. Joseph designed and created numerous works of art with latch hook and called himself the "Happy Hooker". Survivors include his aunts, Dorothy Hardy and Vi Nelson both of Albert Lea; special friend, Tammy Ress of Albert Lea; and long term friends, Paul and Judy Philbrook of Indianola, IA. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Roger; and cat, Elizabet.
