Jennetta Ann Knudson was born on February 2, 1930 in Lake Park, Iowa, the daughter of Harry and Gladys (Reed) Allen. She grew up in rural Spirit Lake, IA and graduated from Jackson High School in 1948. On July 29, 1956 Jennetta was united in marriage to Clayton F. Knudson in Mankato. She worked for H.L. Green in Mankato during the 1950âs and was a homemaker. Jennetta and Clayton moved to Albert Lea in 1967. She was an active member of First Baptist Church, serving on various groups and committees. She particularly enjoyed teaching Sunday School and Bible School. She was secretary/treasurer of the TOPS group. Jennetta collected and believed in angels. He favorite saying was âLife is fragile, handle with prayer.â Blessed be her memory.
Survivors include her children Kayla (Palmer) Christensen, Kipton (Vickie) Knudson, Koleen (Chuck Davis) Knudson, and Kent (Shannon) Knudson; grandchildren Jeramiah OâRourke, Rebekah Wright, Alex Knudson, Jackson Knudson, and Amber Knudson; great-grandchildren Kaitlyn, Caleb, Ragan, Wyatt, and Abby; and several nieces and nephews.
Jennetta was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Clayton, a brother and 3 sisters.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to First Baptist Church in Albert Lea.
