Jarah Margaret Beers

Jarah Margaret Beers was born on October 15, 1985 to Tom and Shelly Schmitt Beers in Albert Lea, MN. She went to school in Lake Mills. Jarah lived in both Emmons and Lake Mills. She moved to Rochester several years ago and was working at the Holiday Inn in Rochester. Jarah was a very social person who enjoyed visiting with people. She also enjoyed helping her mom in the garden. Jarah was honored to be the godmother to her friend's son, Carter. Survivors include her parents, Shelly Beers of Emmons and Tom Nancy Peterson Beers of Lake Mills; sister, Stacia Beers of Albert Lea; grandparents, Margaret and Donald Schmitt of Emmons; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Jarah was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ruth and Leonard Beers; aunts, Sonja Farmer and Jaqueline Jepson; and uncle, Daniel Schmitt.
