Inga Pauline Thompson

Inga Pauline Thompson was born on March 23, 1908, in a log cabin on the Erlandson farm near Freeborn, the daughter of Anton and Nettie Wangen Erlandson. Inga attended Country School. She married Henry Thompson on February 15, 1928. They were married for 54 years and were blessed with one son, Robert. Inga was a member of the West Freeborn Lutheran Church. She served as a Sunday school teacher and Superintendent for 32 years. She also belonged to a Home Ec and Birthday Club. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, crocheting, and baking. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Inga was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Henry; son, Robert; daughters-in-law, Betty Walker Thompson, and Sherry Redman, Hart, Thompson Zabel; brothers, Nels, Herman, and Ray Erlandson; sisters, Emma and Agnes Erlandson, Mabel Grady, Stella Hanson, and Laura Hugtveit.
