Harold Leo Hannegrefs was born on June 2, 1925 in rural Epping, ND, the son of John and Elizabeth Marks Hannegrefs. Harold served his country in the United States Navy, aboard the aircraft carrier USS Enterprise, during WWII. He was very proud of his military service.
