Gregory R. Severson

Gregory Randall Severson was born October 15, 1955, to Raymond and Lorraine Carlsen Severson in Glendale, CA. The family lived in California before moving to Clarks Grove in 1971 when Greg was 16 years old. He attended school and lived at the State Hospital in Faribault until it closed when he moved to the MSOCS Group Home In Kasson. Greg liked going on trips with his friends. His greatest love was music and he really liked to dance. He also especially enjoyed animals. Survivors include his parents, Lorraine and Raymond of Clarks Grove; sister Pat and husband, Jon Rhiger of Clarks Grove; nephews: Jon Beck, David and wife, Heather Beck and their children, Jager and Jaxon, and Michael Rhiger; niece, Cher and husband, Scott Anderson and their children: Tyler, Parker, Brooke, and Cole; and uncles, aunts, and many other family members and friends. Greg was preceded in death by his grandparents, Walter and Doris Carlsen and Sever and Ida Severson; uncles: Orville Severson, Marvin and wife, Mabel Carlsen, and Lowell Carlsen; and aunt, Audrey Carlsen. Greg was greatly loved by everyone at his home and all of his family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
