Glenn Sayles McDaniel

Glenn Sayles McDaniel was born on February 11, 1922 to Curtis and Lena Anderson McDaniel in Rose Creek, MN. He graduated from Austin High School. For a short time Glenn drove taxi where he met Marion. On September 9, 1944 Glenn was united in marriage to Marion Knudson at First Lutheran Church. The couple made their home in the Albert Lea area. Glenn worked at Wilson & Co. for 38 ½ years. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, and the Eagles Club. Glenn enjoyed walking and working on old cars. Survivors include his wife, Marion; son, Larry McDaniel of Albert Lea; grandchildren, Brooke McDaniel, Jaymi McDaniel and fiancé, Nick Russo; brother, Lloyd McDaniel of San Diego, CA; sister, Doris Hollywood of Maryland; and several nieces and nephews. Glenn was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Curtis and wife Lillian McDaniel; sister, Betty and husband Jim Carney; and daughter-in-law, Debra McDaniel.
