Gladys Luella Raimer was born April 30, 1910, to Lauritz and Gina Nelson Peterson in Manchester Township. She attended rural schools and was a lifelong resident of Freeborn County. In the early 1930s, Gladys was united in marriage to Ralph E. Raimer. She was a Watkins Dealer and cleaned houses. Gladys was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses and especially enjoyed gardening. Survivors include her brothers, Arvill and Kenneth Peterson; sisters, Alpha Brekke and Myrtle Bomer; and nieces and nephews. Gladys was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ralph; brother, Norman Peterson; and sisters, Alice Christenson and Harriet Treuter.
