Frieda Emma Miller was born on November 5, 1915 to Benhardt and Ella Behrends Bauers in Freeborn County. Frieda was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. She attended schools in Freeborn County and some in Faribault County. Frieda was united in marriage to Ernest Miller and May 8, 1948. During World War II she worked at American Gas Machine Co. She was a homemaker and was known as the "Pie Lady," which she enjoyed making. Frieda was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Albert Lea. Survivors include; sisters-in-law, Sandra Bauers and Myrel; aunt, Hulda Bauers; nieces, Betty Bale, Bonnie Kruse and Leah Bauers; nephew, Kent Bauers and wife Robin, son, Zane and daughter Darby. Frieda was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ernest; brothers, Harold and Herbert Bauers; sister-in-law, Lois Bauers; and nephew, Richard Bauers.
