Florence Delores Wyant

Florence Delores Wyant passed away Sunday, November 24, 2024. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 2, at 1:30 PM at Bayview Freeborn Funeral Home. Father Kurt Farrell will be officiating. Visitation will begin at noon. Burial will be at St. Theodore Catholic Cemetery.

Florence was born in Albert Lea on April 2, 1929, to Frank and Nora (Jellum) Yerhot. She grew up in Albert Lea and was a lifelong resident. On March 18, 1950, she was united in marriage to John Wyant. They had 9 children. She was a loving mother and wife. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.

Florence is survived by her children; Claire (Bruce) Christofferson, Judy (Roy) Schreiber, John P. Wyant (John C.), Patricia (Darrel) Vanderploeg, Joy (Mark) Johnson, James Wyant, Frank (Janet) Wyant, Diane (Larry) Solberg; grandchildren, Briana, Lisa, Becky, Stoney, Sam, Shane, Sally, Jermey, Joshua, Dale, Loretta, John Leonard, Adam, Heidi, Dean, Brian and many loving great-grandchildren; daughter in law, Linda Wyant.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John Wyant; son, Larry Wyant; parents, Frank and Nora Yerhot; 6 sisters; one brother; grandson James John (J.J.); granddaughter, Wendy.
