Evelyn Doris Prantner was born September 30, 1922, to Edward and Mamie Copp Mudra in London, MN. She attended the London School and lived in the Myrtle area all of her life. Evelyn was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Myrtle, a life member of the American Legion Auxiliary, and a member of the Eagle's Auxiliary. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, and cooking, and loved to be around people and visit with her friends. Survivors include her sons, Larry Prantner of Myrtle and his special friend, Hazel Tompkins; Gerald and his wife, Nancy Prantner of Glenville; grandchildren: Tammy and husband, Ron Laite, Josh Prantner, Angie and husband, Tracy Hanna, all of Albert Lea, and Gary Prantner of Byron; great-grandchildren: Brittany Sullivan, Brodey Johnson, Madysen Laite, and Zach, Spencer, and Carter Hanna; great-great-granddaughter, Tiara Sullivan; and nieces and nephews. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Amy Prantner; and 2 brothers and a sister.
